About Us

We are the Husband and Wife duo behind The Monthly Missionary. We both served as Missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Kurt served in the Dominican Republic, and Jess served in Zimbabwe. 

Our missions changed the trajectory of our lives, and we hold our experiences there near to our hearts. Most importantly, we cherish the interactions with those we had the chance to meet, love, and serve. 

We've always wanted to start a company together, and wanted to center it around something we were passionate about. When we thought of what our passions are, there is nothing we are more passionate about than The Gospel of Jesus Christ and missionary work. 

Here at The Monthly Missionary, we are striving to "Empower missionaries to magnify their calling, one box at a time". The hope is that the items contained in each box inspire your missionary to act. Whether it is something for them that strengthens their testimony and gives them confidence, or something to pass out to a friend they meet on the street that day, these packages are made for them.
